Statement of Faith

  1. e believe that there is only one God, existing in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.   (John 10:30; Philippians 2:5-7; I John 5:7 John 1:14)
  2. We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of God.   (Luke 1:3)
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary.  We believe that He was buried, rose again on the third day and ascended to heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father.  (1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
  4. We believe that the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness.   (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  5. We believe in the born again experience with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues.   (John 3:5-8; Acts 1:5; Acts 2:1-4)
  6. We believe in the water baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.   (Matthew 28:19) 
  7. We believe in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the gifts of word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues.    (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)
  8. We believe in Christ's gifts for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.  He gave some to apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers.   (Ephesians 4:7-12)
  9. We believe in The Motivational Gifts given by God differing according to the grace given to prophesy, to lead, to serve, to teach, to exhort, to give and to have mercy.   (Romans 12:3-8)
  10. We believe that God is love, that faith works through love and without love we are nothing.   (1 John 4:16; Galations 5:6; Corinthians 13)
  11. We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  The dead in Christ will rise first.  Those who are alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord.    (1 Thessalonians 4:16-1)
  12. We believe that it is appointed for men once to die and after that the judgement.  All will stand before the great white throne and our works will be judged.  All whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life will continue in eternal life.  All whose names are not found in the Lamb's Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire.    (Hebrews 9:21; Revelation 20:11-15)
